Firas is an experienced Product Manager and Strategy + Operations Consultant with a strong track record of driving digital products from go-to-market strategy into production. He is an outcomes-focused product leader skilled in leveraging customer insights, financial analysis, and cutting edge technologies that drive operational improvements and efficiencies. He enjoys facilitating cross-functional collaboration across diverse teams and developing trusted relationships with stakeholders and clients.

Firas began his career in international development where he built an educational NGO (Kayany) for refugees that partnered with Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai in opening a secondary school for refugee girls. After growing the gross operating budget of Kayany to $7 million, he worked with municipal government leaders around the globe to solve pressing transportation and mobility challenges as a Consultant at UN-Habitat.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from Harvard University, serves as a Director on the Harvard Club of Chicago board, supports Chicago’s tech community as a member of P33’s 33 Council, and contributes to the strategy and development of new collaborative design tools as Design Advisory Board Member at Naya.

Outside of work you can find him in the kitchen of Ommi Foods, a food pop-up he founded in 2023 that serves foods inspired by local Chicago moms.
